About the Role
This opportunity is for an experienced aerospace engineering professional who can help train AI systems. The work is focused on using your subject-matter expertise to improve model responses and overall performance.
Candidates with a current, in-progress, or completed Master’s or PhD are preferred, though this is not mandatory. Backgrounds in closely related areas such as Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, and Aeroscience are also considered relevant.
What You’ll Do
- Create challenging and varied prompts for AI chatbots and assess the answers they generate.
- Review AI model output for accuracy, quality, and performance.
Qualifications
- Strong command of English at a native or bilingual level.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Solid knowledge of physics and engineering concepts.
- Ability to reason well across inductive, deductive, physical, temporal, and spatial scenarios.
- Master’s or PhD study/completion is preferred, but not required.
Working Model and Contract Details
This is an independent contractor role. You can select the projects you want to take on and decide when you work. The work is done on your own computer, from your home, with flexible scheduling.
Pay and Payment Method
Compensation starts at $40+ USD per hour, with bonus rates available on some projects. Payment is processed through PayPal, and PayPal will handle any currency conversion from USD. No payment or fee is ever requested from applicants.
Location
Only candidates located in Canada will be considered for this position.
Additional Information
The role is part of an AI training workflow that relies on expert technical judgment. Applicants from related disciplines may also be a fit if they have the required engineering depth and reasoning skills.
