Role Overview
Kepak Group is hiring an experienced Accounts Payable Clerk for its Kilbeggan site in County Offaly. The position focuses on supporting the accounts payable operation, handling weekly payroll, processing supplier invoices, reconciling statements, and helping keep finance processes running smoothly.
The role is based onsite and reports to the Finance Manager. The intended start date is early July.
Key Responsibilities
- Run weekly payroll for a team of 60 employees.
- Prepare purchase orders as needed.
- Enter and post invoices accurately.
- Handle SEPA payment processing.
- Match supplier statements each month and follow up with vendors where required.
- Maintain and file supporting records for finance audits.
- Manage the monthly stationery order.
- Carry out general office tasks when needed.
- Support holiday coverage across the finance team.
Requirements
- Prior experience in accounts payable or a closely related finance role.
- Comfort using accounting systems and Microsoft Office tools.
- Strong accuracy, organisation, and attention to detail.
- Good verbal and written communication skills with a professional manner.
- Ability to work on your own initiative and to tight deadlines.
- Understanding of core accounting concepts.
