About the Role
Cosmo5 is hiring an Account Manager to support a major strategic media account in the Canadian financial services sector, while also contributing to lifestyle-focused brands and service accounts. The position suits someone who is highly organized, client-oriented, and comfortable managing paid media activity, coordination tasks, reporting, and day-to-day campaign execution.
You will work alongside the Account Director, media operations specialists, channel leads, data teams, and project leads to ensure the account runs efficiently. The role involves managing timelines, briefs, campaign progress, meeting follow-ups, reporting inputs, and client communication across a complex and fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle daily client communication and support overall account coordination.
- Convert client requests into actionable tasks, briefs, timelines, and next steps.
- Coordinate across paid search, paid social, programmatic, data, reporting, and media operations teams.
- Build agendas, status updates, meeting summaries, action lists, and follow-up notes.
- Monitor deadlines, approvals, blockers, campaign launches, and reporting requirements.
- Assist with campaign planning, QA coordination, performance reviews, and monthly reporting.
- Maintain project management tools with accurate ownership, timing, and status updates.
- Spot risks, missing details, and process gaps early so work continues smoothly.
- Support the Account Director in keeping the client informed, organized, and confident in execution.
What We’re Looking For
- At least 4 years of experience in an agency, media, account management, or digital marketing environment.
- Working knowledge of paid media channels such as search, social, and/or programmatic.
- Proven experience coordinating complex work across multiple teams and stakeholders.
- Strong organizational skills, communication ability, and reliable follow-through.
- Comfort handling timelines, meeting notes, project updates, and client requests accurately.
- Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Google Workspace, ClickUp, Asana, Wrike, or similar platforms.
- Ability to remain composed, clear, and proactive in a fast-moving setting.
- Exposure to financial services, B2B, regulated industries, offline/traditional media, or multi-agency accounts is an advantage.
- Selected candidates may need to complete background screening, due diligence, and onboarding steps based on client requirements and applicable law.
