About the role
STATSports is seeking a high-calibre Account Manager to support professional sports clients across South East Asia. This position focuses on managing relationships with elite sporting organisations, delivering ongoing guidance, and ensuring customers achieve the strongest possible results from the company’s technology and services.
This is a remote position, but candidates must have the legal right to work in South East Asia.
What you will do
- Act as the main contact for all account-related matters across your customer portfolio.
- Deliver sports science advice both virtually and in person throughout the region.
- Take a proactive, solutions-focused approach to account management by identifying opportunities to add value.
- Make sure clients are fully trained and working with the most current versions of the company’s products and systems.
- Build strong, professional, and long-term relationships with clients.
- Ensure solutions are delivered on time and aligned with customer goals and requirements.
- Respond quickly and accurately to customer questions, and support the resolution of complex issues or escalations.
- Keep Salesforce records current and accurate by logging all client interactions.
- Travel to client sites during the year to confirm their needs and objectives are being met.
- Grow business from existing accounts and look for opportunities to improve results against sales targets.
- Work closely with the Sales team to identify and develop opportunities across assigned territories.
- Contribute to the Sports Science team by producing written performance insights.
- Stay committed to professional growth by keeping up with developments in athlete monitoring, competitor systems, and account management practices.

Requirements
- An undergraduate degree in sport science, or an equivalent qualification.
- Fluency in the native language of the country, both spoken and written.
- Background in high-performance sport, either through coaching or work experience, with exposure to a GPS performance tracking system.
- Willingness and ability to travel for work up to 50% of the time.
- Current location in South East Asia.
Preferred experience
- Previous use of Salesforce CRM.
- Ability to speak an additional language.
- At least 1 year of experience in a customer-facing role.
