About the role

This position is centered on accelerating the growth of the Plates processing business by generating new opportunities, managing important customer relationships, and providing technical sales support across the region. It is a practical, performance-based B2B sales role where results are measured by new business wins, revenue growth, and durable client partnerships.

Key duties

  • Source and convert new business opportunities throughout the region.
  • Develop existing customer accounts and deepen commercial relationships.
  • Create precise quotations and pricing calculations, including cost and margin considerations.
  • Deliver sales presentations and tailor product recommendations to customer needs.
  • Track market activity, sales pipeline progress, and upcoming project opportunities.
  • Partner with internal teams to support timely delivery and a strong customer experience.
  • Maintain an active pipeline and consistently achieve sales targets.

Working hours

Monday to Friday, 7:30am to 5:00pm.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of experience in B2B or external sales.
  • A track record of meeting or surpassing sales targets.
  • A strong prospecting mindset with the drive to win new business.
  • Experience handling quoting, pricing, and margin control.
  • Good commercial judgement and confidence with numbers.
  • The ability to manage a pipeline and produce forecasts.
  • Strong negotiation skills and the ability to close deals.
  • Working knowledge of CRM tools, Excel, and quoting systems at an intermediate level.

Preferred background

  • Experience in steel, manufacturing, or construction.
  • Background in technical or solution-focused sales.
  • Familiarity with plates or other industrial products.
