Role Overview

SmartBear is hiring an Account Executive to help expand new business and support international growth. This position is suited to someone who can build strong customer relationships, identify opportunities, and position SmartBear’s solutions as part of the customer’s software development workflow. The role includes a competitive earning structure with uncapped earning potential, accelerators, and sales incentives, alongside a collaborative environment led by experienced leaders.

What You’ll Do

  • Create new business opportunities by working inbound leads and carrying out direct outreach.
  • Grow adoption across different divisions within current accounts and develop durable relationships across both transactional and enterprise sales cycles.
  • Advise customers on improving their applications and recommend SmartBear products that align with their business goals and digital transformation priorities.
  • Embed SmartBear’s offerings into the customer’s development process so they become part of everyday workflow.
  • Continue building your skills through ongoing training and professional development designed to support long-term sales success.

What We’re Looking For

  • At least 3 years of experience selling software, ideally into technical organizations.
  • A track record of working against KPIs and managing a sales quota.
  • Strong communication and presentation abilities.
  • A proactive, self-driven approach with a high level of accountability.
  • Familiarity with LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, Salesforce, and Outreach is an advantage.
  • A bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
