About the internship
Boatload Minds works on smart beverage vending machines that combine hardware technology and IoT to deliver refreshments through automated systems. The internship offers hands-on exposure to product design and development in a hardware-focused environment.
What you will do
- Create 3D CAD models, technical drawings, and assemblies in SolidWorks.
- Support the development of new product concepts and prototypes.
- Maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs) and other engineering documentation.
- Prepare manufacturing drawings with correct GD&T specifications.
- Take part in prototype testing and product validation.
- Contribute to design improvements and cost-reduction efforts.
- Work with cross-functional teams during product development activities.

- Basic to intermediate working knowledge of SolidWorks.
- Good understanding of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T).
