About the internship
This role is for a social media marketing intern who will help manage and grow multiple brand accounts across major platforms. The work involves building platform-specific strategies, planning content, engaging communities, supporting campaigns, and coordinating with creative and performance teams to maintain consistent brand presence.
Key responsibilities
- Create and run tailored social media strategies for several brands at the same time, while preserving each brand’s unique tone, look, and audience style.
- Prepare monthly content calendars covering Reels, Carousels, Stories, and Static Posts for Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, and YouTube.
- Stay active in community management by replying to comments, DMs, and follower interactions across brand handles to build loyal audiences.
- Plan and execute social campaigns for festivals, brand moments, and promotions, handling the process from brief creation to launch.
- Develop concepts for Reels and short-form videos, then brief editing teams clearly so strategy is translated into finished content.
- Follow social media trends, platform algorithm changes, and competitor activity to keep content relevant and effective.
- Measure performance using KPIs such as reach, impressions, engagement rate, follower growth, saves, and shares, and share weekly and monthly reports with useful insights.
- Work with designers, videographers, and copywriters to keep the visuals and messaging aligned across all deliverables.
- Support boosted post and Meta ad coordination in partnership with the performance marketing team.
- Keep brand tone documents and social media style guides updated and consistent across all accounts.
Eligibility
Applicants must be available for a full-time in-office internship, be able to begin between 15 June 2026 and 20 July 2026, commit to the full 3-month duration, and bring relevant skills and interest in the field. Women who want to start or restart their careers are also welcome to apply.
Other requirements
- 1–2 years of practical experience in social media management, backed by a portfolio showing at least 3–4 brands that were managed or meaningfully scaled.
- Strong knowledge of Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, and YouTube, including content formats, best practices, and how each platform functions.
- A sharp visual sense and the ability to preserve different brand identities across multiple accounts.
- Demonstrated ability to grow brand accounts through organic methods.
- Comfort using scheduling and analytics tools such as Meta Business Suite and Google Analytics.
- Good command of Instagram Reels, trending audio, and short-form video planning.
- Strong written communication, including the ability to read and write in Marathi while keeping the tone authentic.
- Experience planning content around Indian festivals and culturally relevant brand moments.
- Ability to handle multiple brands and deadlines at once without sacrificing quality.
- A portfolio or case studies are mandatory, with account handles, sample content, and growth metrics wherever possible; applications without this will not be considered.
Stipend
Selected candidates will receive INR 15,000 to INR 20,000 per month.
