Metnmat Research, recognized as India's pioneering private R&D entity specializing in metallurgy and materials solutions, invites applications for the role of AWS DevOps Engineer Intern based in Mumbai. This 6-month full-time onsite internship offers hands-on exposure to various stages of software development with a focus on DevOps practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Supporting the creation and enhancement of web, mobile, and software applications.
- Producing code that is clean, efficient, and easy to maintain.
- Engaging in regular code reviews and contributing to team discussions.
- Debugging and testing software to ensure quality and reliability.
- Collaborating closely with designers, product managers, and senior developers to achieve project goals.
- Assisting in preparing and maintaining comprehensive software documentation.
- Adopting and applying best practices for coding and software development processes.
Candidate Profile and Requirements
- Currently pursuing Computer Science Engineering or a related discipline.
- Availability for a full-time (in-office) internship, able to commence between July 23, 2026, and August 27, 2026.
- Commitment to a 6-month internship duration.
- Proficient in at least one programming language such as Python, Java, C++, JavaScript, or C#.
- Solid understanding of Data Structures and Algorithms, Object-Oriented Programming, and the Software Development Life Cycle with Agile methodologies.
- Knowledge of frontend technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript and familiarity with frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js is advantageous.
- Entry-level experience with backend frameworks such as Node.js, Django, Flask, Spring Boot, or .NET.
- Basic database skills with MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or SQLite.
- Familiarity with REST API development and integration.
- Experience using Git and GitHub for version control.
- Capabilities in software testing, debugging, and troubleshooting.
- Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving ability, and effective communication and teamwork skills.
- Motivated to learn new technologies, adapt to project changes, and produce well-documented code.
- Basic understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, with prior exposure to Docker, Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD), and DevOps tools considered a plus.
Additional Information
Selected interns will receive a stipend of ₹10,000 per month and a certificate upon successful completion of the internship.
