Role Overview

EY’s Global Delivery Services (GDS) team within People Consulting is hiring a Manager focused on Work Force Management (WFM), with strong expertise in UKG Pro Workforce Management and Boomi integration strategy. This role offers the chance to contribute to a globally connected professional services environment while helping shape the expansion of the GDS People Consulting practice.

What You Will Do

  • Design end-to-end integration architecture for UKG Pro WFM, using API-led and event-driven approaches built on Boomi.
  • Advise on the right practices for building, running, and governing integrations through the Boomi AtomSphere platform.
  • Evaluate technical and delivery risks, spot compatibility challenges, and define practical mitigation plans.
  • Lead code review activities to confirm alignment with quality, security, and platform standards.
  • Convert complicated technical needs into clear deliverables, dependencies, and risk notes.
  • Take part in the complete project lifecycle and ensure the integration supports business goals.
  • Act as a subject-matter expert for build and testing phases and guide the project team.
  • Maintain delivery quality and oversee operational execution.
  • Handle engagement risk, project economics, escalations, planning, and budgeting.
  • Focus on client outcomes while looking for ways to expand engagement value.
  • Support business growth through client sessions, delivery leadership, sales support, and expansion planning.
  • Develop and grow payroll consulting and WFM capability, including relationships across global practices and performance metrics such as productivity, utilization, headcount growth, and market penetration.
  • Create thought leadership, tools, collateral, methods, and frameworks to strengthen payroll consulting and WFM offerings.
  • Coach and counsel team members, set goals, run performance reviews, and encourage continuous development.

  • Experience managing teams and advising clients on workforce management processes and systems.
  • Boomi Professional Developer certification or badge is required.
  • Strong working knowledge of REST and SOAP APIs, JSON, XML, SFTP, WIM, and SQL.
  • Groovy scripting or JavaScript experience within Boomi is preferred.

Preferred Experience

  • Practical expertise in Workforce Management with a business-focused approach to solving complex payroll and WFM issues.
  • Experience leading WFM workstreams from planning through implementation, including resource and budget management.
  • Exposure to payroll delivery model design, such as payroll consolidation, vendor advisory, shared service centre setup, technology-led efficiency improvements, and transition management.
  • Experience supporting pursuit activities through proposals and presentations in the payroll and WFM space.
  • Ability to assess processes, define operational metrics, and compare performance against internal targets and industry benchmarks.
  • Experience supporting payroll transition to a third-party provider, including governance model design to manage vendor performance and service delivery.
  • Project management experience.
  • Experience working in a Big 4 consulting environment.
