Role overview
SANY Group is a major global manufacturer of construction and heavy equipment, supplying machinery and related solutions to customers in more than 150 countries. As the company expands its Australian operations, it is seeking a motivated Warehouse Assistant for its Perth team to help strengthen and improve warehouse performance.
Key duties
- Support day-to-day warehouse activities with a focus on safe, efficient, and accurate stock handling.
- Improve warehouse layouts, workflows, and inventory movement to raise productivity and stock rotation.
- Handle inbound and outbound logistics tasks such as receiving goods, picking, packing, dispatching, and liaising with freight partners.
- Track inventory accuracy and carry out regular stocktakes and reconciliations.
- Identify, investigate, and resolve operational variances and stock-related issues.
- Prepare warehouse performance reports and turn data into useful business insights.
- Work closely with Sales, Logistics, Procurement, and After-Sales teams to support growth and customer requirements.
- Contribute to the continued build-out of SANY Australia’s warehouse network.
Candidate profile
- Prior hands-on experience in warehouse operations, inventory control, or warehouse management.
- Good working knowledge of warehouse and logistics procedures.
- Strong planning, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
- Comfortable managing multiple priorities and adjusting to changing operational demands.
- A practical, improvement-focused mindset.
- Mandarin Chinese fluency is strongly preferred.
