About the role

Parfums Christian Dior is looking for a Visual Merchandising Trainee to join the regional Visual Merchandising function within the Marketing team in Dubai. In this role, you will report to the Senior Visual Merchandising Manager and work closely with the regional VM team as well as multiple internal stakeholders. The position supports the rollout of the retail marketing strategy across all markets and helps strengthen the Maison’s image across the Middle East through clear communication, coordination, and consistent execution of VM guidelines.

This opportunity sits within a house guided by six core values: creating with passion, collaborating with joy, pursuing the highest luxury standards, leading boldly, embracing inclusive excellence, and helping re-enchant the world.

Visual merchandising support

  • Coordinate the ordering, sharing, and timely distribution of visuals, colour proofs, and movie loop content to the relevant markets in line with the marketing calendar.
  • Prepare visual update simulations for selected doors in the region and review market-specific versions to ensure the marketing plan is followed and allocations stay aligned across markets.
  • Keep the VM database current by maintaining accurate records and organization of the latest point-of-sale information for the regional assortment.
  • Review trade animation visual allocations to confirm they match the Maison’s strategic direction and key priorities.

Skincare axis management

  • Build forecasts for new skincare launches in collaboration with commercial and market teams, while remaining within the assigned budget.
  • Track the receipt and dispatch of POSM materials to the relevant countries.
  • Update skincare planograms in IWD according to the marketing calendar, ensure commercial priorities are respected, communicate changes to countries, and follow through on implementation.
  • Share all necessary VM information with the markets on time, including guidelines, local production details, and centralized planograms for skincare updates.
  • Maintain accurate and organized records for the regional skincare point-of-sale database.

Point-of-sale openings and renovations

  • Support the VM team on point-of-sale openings by helping manage VM books and coordinating local production and installation activities.

Communication and reporting

  • Produce and circulate an internal Visual Merchandising newsletter for all markets, featuring key VM materials such as guidelines, visual priorities, and movie loops for upcoming launches.
  • Gather and summarize reports from local VM teams covering brand installations, window displays, store openings, seasonal VM setups, and related events to monitor performance and consistency across the region.

Candidate profile

The role is suited to someone with a university or business school background and an initial exposure to project management or visual merchandising. You should be comfortable working with Microsoft tools, especially Excel and PowerPoint, and familiarity with Adobe Suite and IWD is preferred. Success in this role also depends on strong attention to detail, a proactive mindset, the ability to adapt quickly in a fast-changing environment, creativity, solution-focused thinking, solid planning and organization skills, and excellent communication skills. Fluency in English, both written and spoken, is required.

Additional information

Inclusivity is a core principle at Parfums Christian Dior. The company values diversity as a source of strength and aims to create a workplace where people feel respected, welcomed, and appreciated for what makes them unique. Inclusivity is seen as something practiced every day, not simply stated as a value.

Internal candidate note

If you are currently employed by LVMH, the application must be submitted through the internal job board, WORK @LVMH - Voices.
