Role overview

For the location in Soest, the role of toezichthouder centers on keeping the swimming facility safe, clean, and welcoming. You will monitor the pool area, help visitors follow the house rules, and contribute to a positive experience for everyone using the venue.

What you will do

In this position, you act as a friendly point of contact for guests and support a pleasant atmosphere throughout the pool complex. You also help maintain hygiene across the swimming pool, changing areas, and other shared spaces. If an unexpected situation arises, you stay calm and provide first aid when needed.

Location and team

This job is based at Optisport Sportboulevard De Engh on Dalweg in Soest. The site includes a competition pool, a recreational pool, fitness facilities, two sports halls, wellness, and hospitality services. Around 30 colleagues work together to keep guests active and comfortable.

Growth and development

The position offers room to grow within Optisport. Through the Optisport Academy, you can expand your abilities and, for example, train to become a swimming instructor. The organization also offers the possibility of working at multiple Optisport locations in different roles if desired.

Compensation and benefits

You will receive a gross monthly salary between €2,616.11 and €2,856.01 based on 38 hours per week, depending on your knowledge and experience, in line with the swimming pools collective agreement.
