Terminal Standards Supervisor

Role overview

This position is based at Hamad International Airport in Doha and focuses on overseeing the cleaning services delivered by external contractors. The role ensures that airport cleaning operations meet the agreed service scope, required KPIs, and internal standards.

Key responsibilities

• Check that cleaning work is completed in line with the agreed scope and performance targets by carrying out joint audits with janitorial contractors at PTC.
• Work collaboratively with team members to support smooth day-to-day operations.
• Promote and maintain MATAR safety requirements so that all cleaning activity is carried out safely.
• Interpret and use the documentation needed to execute cleaning tasks properly.
• Confirm that MATAR procedures and standards are followed and that cleaning suppliers remain compliant.
• Prepare and complete the daily shift report, contribute to shift handovers, and flag any issues or concerns to maintain continuity of work.

Candidate profile

The ideal candidate should bring either a high school qualification, vocational qualification, or diploma with at least 5 years of directly related experience, or a bachelor’s degree with at least 3 years of directly related experience. An accredited cleaning certificate such as BICS or an equivalent credential is required. Strong teamwork, clear communication, and the discipline to follow company procedures and standards are essential.
