The menu includes burritos, bowls, nachos and tacos made with house-made guacamole and other fresh ingredients, so the role involves working in a clean food environment rather than in a greasy kitchen. Stores operate throughout the day and night, giving staff flexibility around work, study and personal commitments.

Through the Plate 4 Plate initiative, Zambrero donates one meal to a person in need for every bowl or burrito sold.

Role Summary

The team member role is focused on preparing and serving fresh Mexican food, delivering warm customer service, and keeping restaurant standards high across food quality, hygiene and cleanliness. The position suits people who enjoy a lively workplace, like helping others, and want to contribute to a business with a social purpose.

Key Duties

• Serve customers with a friendly, upbeat attitude and a strong service mindset.
• Prepare food according to recipes and meal-period requirements.
• Adjust food preparation based on customer demand and expected volume.
• Follow all food safety, handling and sanitisation procedures.
• Support daily and weekly cleaning across food preparation areas, the dining space and the wider restaurant.
• Take on other tasks that help the restaurant operate efficiently and provide a great guest experience.
