Role Overview
This contract position is for a Supply Chain Coordinator based in Monroe, NC, supporting a manufacturing operation for a global organization known for advanced production and industrial innovation. The role is centered on improving supply chain performance, working with data, and helping keep materials and production moving efficiently across the manufacturing and distribution flow. It is a fully onsite assignment on first shift.
What You’ll Do
- Review and interpret supply chain information to help with production planning, inventory control, and logistics coordination.
- Support purchasing and materials planning activities so resources are available when needed.
- Assist with manufacturing execution and planning tools to keep production processes accurate and up to date.
- Work closely with teams in production, logistics, and customer service to maintain smooth operations.
- Spot opportunities to improve processes and strengthen day-to-day efficiency.
- Create and deliver reports in Excel and PowerPoint to support business decisions.
- Keep records current and maintain system data in SAP or comparable enterprise platforms.
Role Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree or a higher qualification from an accredited school, completed and verified before the start date.
- At least 3 years of experience in supply chain, transportation, logistics, manufacturing, production, or customer service settings across private, public, government, or military environments.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Hands-on exposure to procurement systems, manufacturing execution systems, and/or planning systems such as SAP.
- Good analytical ability, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work onsite full time.
- Preferred background includes work in large manufacturing or industrial settings, exposure to continuous improvement practices, and strong communication with cross-functional teams.
Additional Details
This is a 6-month contract role in the manufacturing industry. Pay is listed at $25.00 to $27.00 per hour. Required PPE includes safety glasses and safety shoes.
