Site Engineer - Interior Fit-Out Projects

Role Overview

Brenur India Pvt. Ltd. is hiring a Site Engineer for interior fit-out assignments across multiple sites in Bengaluru. The role is centered on day-to-day on-site execution, with responsibility for coordinating labour, vendors, materials, and work progress so that delivery stays aligned with approved drawings, quality expectations, budgets, and timelines.

The company operates in the interior fit-out and civil contracting space and brings over 15 years of execution experience through its parent operations under S. G. Enterprises. Its work spans turnkey solutions for corporate, commercial, residential, industrial, hospitality, healthcare, and institutional projects, with an emphasis on quality, efficiency, safety, and technology-enabled project management. Candidates who can join immediately or on short notice will be given preference.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and carry out daily site work in line with approved drawings, BOQ, and the project schedule.
• Work closely with the project manager, designers, architects, subcontractors, and vendors to keep site operations running smoothly.
• Plan and monitor labour deployment, productivity, material requirements, and daily execution targets.
• Check workmanship and finishes carefully, including levels, alignment, and detailing, and close snags quickly.
• Maintain records such as daily progress reports, attendance sheets, inspection checklists, progress photographs, and the site diary.
• Ensure that HSE and safety procedures are followed and that the site remains clean and well organized.
• Support client and site coordination while maintaining clear and professional communication at all times.

Requirements

• Diploma, B.E., or B.Tech in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field.
• 2 to 4 years of experience in site execution for interior fit-out projects, preferably in corporate or commercial environments.
• Solid understanding of fit-out work such as partitions, ceilings, flooring, painting, carpentry, basic MEP coordination, and finishes.
• Ability to lead teams effectively and solve on-site issues without delay.
• Comfortable interpreting drawings and executing work accordingly.
• Working knowledge of basic reporting tools such as Excel, Google Sheets, or WhatsApp.
• Familiarity with planning tools such as Zoho, MS Project, Primavera, or equivalent software is preferred.
• Own vehicle is mandatory for commuting between sites.
