Role Overview

The organization is hiring a Senior QA Automation professional for its Hyderabad location. This position centers on automation testing for web and API solutions, with a strong focus on modern test frameworks and hands-on coding expertise.

Key Responsibilities

The selected candidate will be expected to manage QA automation efforts, validate test outcomes, and investigate the underlying causes of defects or failures.

• Carry out automation testing for web-based and API-based solutions.
• Build and maintain tests using Playwright with TypeScript.
• Work on Selenium automation with Java.
• Use C# or Java confidently for test automation work.
• Apply T-SQL knowledge and interact with SQL databases as needed.
• Track and manage defects using tools such as Azure DevOps or Jira.
• Oversee QA execution, review test results, and perform root-cause analysis.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in test automation.
• Practical experience in automating web and API solutions.
• Hands-on exposure to Playwright with TypeScript.
• Working knowledge of Selenium with Java.
• Strong programming skills in C# and/or Java.
• Familiarity with T-SQL and SQL databases.
• Experience using bug tracking platforms such as Azure DevOps or Jira.
• Insurance domain knowledge is preferred.
• Agile delivery experience is preferred.
• Good communication skills.
