Role overview
Unishippers is looking for a motivated Sales Recruiter to support the growth of its logistics sales organization. This is a true end-to-end recruiting role, centered on finding, engaging, assessing, and hiring strong Account Executives across the United States.
The ideal candidate is proactive, highly organized, curious, and competitive. You should enjoy speaking with candidates, spotting sales potential beyond a résumé, and confidently recommending people who can succeed in a fast-moving, high-performance environment. This position is not for someone who waits for applications to come in; it is for a recruiter who actively seeks out talent.
Location for this role is remote within the U.S.
Key responsibilities
- Use LinkedIn Recruiter and internal talent management systems to support hiring efforts.
- Manage the entire recruiting process from initial sourcing through offer acceptance.
- Reach out to passive candidates through LinkedIn Recruiter and other sourcing tools.
- Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of sales candidates.
- Screen candidates by phone and assess sales ability, coachability, resilience, and fit with the team culture.
- Coordinate interviews and manage scheduling with hiring managers and other leaders.
- Work closely with leadership to understand hiring priorities and recruitment strategy.
- Keep candidate records organized in the ATS and support a positive candidate journey.
- Monitor recruiting performance data and use it to improve sourcing and hiring outcomes.
- Contribute to employer branding efforts through LinkedIn and related recruiting initiatives.
Requirements
- 1 to 2 years of full-cycle recruiting experience, ideally with a focus on sales hiring.
- Hands-on experience sourcing candidates through LinkedIn Recruiter.
- Background recruiting for high-volume outbound sales roles is strongly preferred.
- Strong ability to interview candidates and judge fit effectively.
- Well-developed organizational and time-management skills.
- Comfort handling several open roles at once while still maintaining quality.
- Self-directed approach with strong problem-solving ability.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills.
