Role Overview
The Sales Coordinator will support the sales process by managing lead sources, coordinating with customers and internal teams, preparing commercial documents, and ensuring smooth follow-through from enquiry to payment closure.
Key Responsibilities
- Source and track enquiries from platforms such as Just Dial, India Mart, and similar lead channels.
- Connect with prospective customers and coordinate ongoing communication.
- Present and explain product offerings clearly to potential clients.
- Support client conversion by working closely with the marketing and service teams.
- Arrange service team visits for prospective customers as needed.
- Draft proposals and quotations for sales opportunities.
- Follow up with clients for purchase orders and next steps.
- Track advance and balance payments until the full payment process is completed.
- Coordinate with the purchase and service teams for material ordering and installation activities.
- After installation is completed, continue follow-up until final payment is received.
- Provide sales support by assisting with presentations, proposals, and customer queries.
- Coordinate team schedules, territory assignments, meetings, and communication across departments.
- Maintain sales records, update CRM/customer databases, and prepare reports.
- Prepare quotations, process orders, verify accuracy, and help ensure timely delivery and payment follow-up.
- Keep sales materials such as brochures and presentation decks current and well-stocked.
- Monitor team targets, quotas, and overall sales performance.
