An established restaurant in Dubai is seeking a polished, welcoming Hostess to be the first point of contact for guests. The role focuses on creating a strong first impression, coordinating seating, handling reservations, and supporting a smooth dining experience from arrival to handoff with the service team.

Key responsibilities

• Receive arriving guests with a courteous, friendly, and professional approach.
• Keep the reservation list and seating arrangement well organized.
• Guide guests to their tables and present menus.
• Share information about the restaurant’s menu and respond to guest questions.
• Work closely with wait staff so service runs smoothly and on time.
• Address guest issues or complaints quickly and tactfully.
• Keep the reception and front-of-house welcome area neat and orderly.
• Support wait staff and the wider team whenever additional help is needed.

Requirements

• Prior work as a hostess in a restaurant or similar hospitality setting is preferred.
• Strong verbal communication and people skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a busy, fast-moving environment.
• Presentable, professional appearance with a polite manner.
• Good planning and organizational ability.
• Composure when dealing with difficult situations or upset guests.
• Availability for different shifts, including evenings and weekends.
• High school diploma or an equivalent qualification; hospitality-related training is a plus.
