Opportunity
This is a practical, hands-on recruitment coordination role supporting a client during a particularly busy period. You will join a welcoming People and Culture team and help keep hiring activity moving smoothly.
Role overview
The position calls for someone who can confidently step into an end-to-end recruitment process, partner with hiring managers, and help deliver a smooth candidate journey from the first application right through to onboarding.
Key responsibilities
- Manage the recruitment process from initial request through to completion.
- Publish vacancies on appropriate job boards and other channels.
- Draft offer documentation and employment agreements.
- Assist with recruitment and selection administration tasks.
- Arrange pre-employment screening, including police vetting.
- Update recruitment systems and maintain HR records accurately.
- Handle and monitor the shared recruitment inbox.
- Provide broader administrative assistance to the People & Culture team.
What you will bring
- Prior experience working in a recruitment, talent acquisition, or HR coordination position.
- Ability to independently manage recruitment activity from beginning to end.
- Strong organisational ability with a close eye for detail.
- Good communication skills and confidence working with stakeholders.
- Flexibility to juggle multiple tasks and stay effective when things are busy.
Working details
This role is based in a central CBD office in Wellington, with some flexibility to work from home. It is a full-time position with flexible working arrangements available. The assignment is temporary and expected to last approximately three months. You will be working alongside supportive colleagues and experienced HR professionals in a positive team culture.
