Role Overview

As a Recruiter, you will help shape the team that is building Lumos. Your work will influence the product, the culture, and the company’s ability to scale effectively. You will work closely with hiring managers and leadership to understand hiring needs, build pipelines, and create a candidate journey that stands out for care and quality. You will also help improve the recruiting infrastructure so it can grow with the company.

You will own searches from start to finish and contribute to stronger recruiting strategy, process design, and employer storytelling so Lumos continues to attract top talent.

Responsibilities

  • Manage recruiting end to end for both technical and non-technical positions, including intake, sourcing, screening, scheduling, and ongoing communication with candidates.
  • Act as a strategic advisor to hiring managers by helping define roles, shape interview panels, and identify where the hiring funnel can be improved.
  • Build strong pipelines by proactively sourcing and engaging passive candidates through targeted outreach and compelling storytelling, with at least 50% of pipeline on priority roles coming from self-sourcing.
  • Strengthen and standardize recruiting workflows such as interview kickoffs, debriefs, and feedback loops, then refine them based on results.
  • Deliver a thoughtful, respectful, and welcoming candidate experience for every applicant, including those not selected.
  • Promote equitable hiring practices by sourcing from diverse communities and encouraging structured, fair evaluation throughout the process.
  • Support hiring across priority areas such as Engineering, Product, Design, GTM, and G&A, while helping develop recruiting systems and best practices for scale.

Requirements

  • 4–6 years of full-cycle recruiting experience, especially across GTM roles.
  • Background working in a smaller, fast-growing company where adaptability and broad ownership were essential.
  • Comfort handling specialized or one-off searches and adjusting the approach to fit each role.
