Role overview

This is a field-based quality audit position in Vijayawada, India, and the role is deputed through Quess Corp Ltd as an off-roll position. The job focuses on checking civil and tower-related work at site locations to ensure that construction quality, technical compliance, and safety standards are being followed.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out routine civil quality checks at project sites in line with company expectations and project quality norms.
• Examine civil activities including foundations, structural work, concreting, excavation, backfilling, and finishing.
• Review tower-related work to assess structural strength, alignment, and overall construction quality.
• Cross-check execution against approved drawings, BOQs, technical specifications, and applicable IS codes.
• Evaluate the quality of materials used, workmanship, and construction methods on site.
• Spot deviations or non-compliance and document audit findings with practical corrective suggestions.
• Track the resolution of corrective and preventive actions until closure.
• Compile detailed audit reports with observations, supporting photos, and findings.
• Maintain compliance with safety rules, statutory requirements, and quality procedures.
• Work with project teams, contractors, and vendors to close quality-related issues.
• Keep accurate documentation and organized quality records.
• Assist with internal and external quality audits whenever needed.

Preferred profile

• Qualified with B.Tech / B.E. in Civil Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
• Working knowledge of civil construction methods and quality control expectations.
• Familiarity with IS codes, site safety, and audit processes.
• Prior exposure to site inspections and audit assignments.
• Strong ability in reporting, record-keeping, and analytical review.
• Comfortable working independently and travelling to different project sites.
• Good communication and stakeholder coordination skills.

Additional information

This position is a deputed, off-roll role through Quess Corp Ltd. The role is field-oriented and may require travel to project locations as part of day-to-day work.
