Role Overview

Synechron is looking for a PySpark Developer to work on large-scale data engineering initiatives in Bengaluru. The role focuses on building, tuning, and supporting distributed data processing solutions for financial services and technology clients.

What You Will Do

• Develop and improve PySpark-based data processing logic with a focus on performance and reliability.
• Work with SQL and relational databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, DB2, and PostgreSQL.
• Handle processing tasks in distributed and high-volume data environments.
• Apply data warehousing principles, ETL/ELT design patterns, and data modeling practices.
• Use Unix/Linux shell scripting and batch processing as part of daily engineering work.
• Support solutions built on Hadoop, Spark, and cloud data platforms where required.
• Contribute to data quality, metadata control, and governance-related processes.

Candidate Profile

• A graduate from any discipline may apply.
• Prior experience in PySpark development and optimization is essential.
• Strong working knowledge of SQL is required.
• Exposure to large-scale data processing and distributed systems is important.
• Knowledge of Hadoop ecosystem tools, Spark, and cloud-based data platforms is preferred.
• Familiarity with data warehousing, ETL/ELT, data modeling, and governance concepts will be an advantage.
