About the opportunity
A US solar company is hiring an experienced Project Manager to oversee utility-scale solar work for projects in the United States. The role is handled remotely from India and focuses on end-to-end project delivery for solar, battery storage, and EV initiatives. The business offers development-as-a-service and construction-as-a-service support, with a strong in-house engineering setup and turnkey execution for developers, builders, landowners, and financiers.
What you'll do
- Drive solar projects from launch through completion, ensuring smooth execution at every stage.
- Build, maintain, and control schedules, budgets, and project financials.
- Work closely with US clients, EPC partners, vendors, and internal teams.
- Monitor progress, keep documentation current, and share regular status updates and reports.
- Spot project risks early, reduce exposure, and maintain compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
- Handle procurement activities, contract coordination, and project records.
- Guide cross-functional teams toward agreed milestones and delivery targets.
- Support commissioning, final handover, and after-action reviews to capture improvements for future work.
What we're looking for
- A bachelor's degree in engineering, preferably Electrical, Mechanical, or a related discipline.
- At least 8 years of project management experience in solar or renewable energy.
- Hands-on knowledge of project planning and control tools such as MS Project, Primavera, and Procore.
- Strong ability to lead teams, communicate clearly, manage stakeholders, and solve problems effectively.
- Prior exposure to US-based renewable energy projects is preferred.
