Role overview

This remote role supports a high-volume, multilingual production operation serving international clients across multiple time zones. As a Project Coordinator for EMEA Production, you will keep translation workflows moving smoothly by organizing linguist allocation, overseeing deadlines, and helping ensure consistent delivery quality. The role sits at the operational core of the team and is best suited to someone who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing several workstreams at once.

This opportunity is based in Ireland and is handled on behalf of a partner company, which will manage the application review and all next steps.

Key accountabilities

• Assign linguists to translation assignments through internal production systems, taking into account capacity, suitability, and project needs.
• Plan and oversee delivery dates so they stay aligned with customer SLAs and internal turnaround expectations.
• Follow the status of assignments, including acceptances, declines, and progress changes, to maintain clear workflow visibility.
• Stay in contact with linguists to confirm progress, surface risks early, and clear blockers that could delay delivery.
• Handle incoming linguist questions by recording, sorting, and responding to them within required production timelines.
• Move work to alternative linguists when necessary to reduce delays, manage workload limits, or address quality issues.
• Keep production records accurate, including information related to linguist availability, performance, and payment handling.
• Send and receive translation quality feedback, including revision notes, and make sure follow-up actions are completed.
• Track QA progress in production tools and chase any incomplete or non-compliant quality checks.
• Raise operational risks, delays, and other workflow problems promptly with the Production Manager or Production Lead.
• Carry out system administration and workflow tasks accurately and in line with established production procedures.

Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree or an equivalent academic background.
• Strong command of English, both in writing and speaking.
• Previous exposure to translation, localization, linguistic services, or coordination work in an operations or production setting.
• Solid planning, multitasking, and detail-management skills.
• Ability to stay effective under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Good communication skills for working with internal stakeholders and linguists in different time zones.
• Exposure to production workflows, localization platforms, or language technology tools is an added advantage.
• At least 1 year of experience in project management, coordination, or a comparable operational role is preferred.
• A practical problem-solving approach with the judgment to escalate issues when needed and keep work moving.
