Role Overview

As a Portfolio Associate, you will run the structured investment systems used to build client portfolios. You will oversee processes that bring together market data, research insights, portfolio construction rules, risk controls, and client-specific limits to produce desired portfolios. You will also determine which instruments should be held and hand off the required trades to the trading team.

In this position, you will communicate portfolio status and decisions clearly to a wide range of stakeholders, including senior investment managers, traders, and developers. You will also work closely with researchers and technologists to improve existing workflows and create new tools, logic, and portfolio solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor the daily logic used to generate client portfolios and trades.
• Explain portfolio status and outcomes clearly to senior investment leaders and CIOs.
• Collaborate with technology and research teams to build new implementation systems or redesign existing ones.
• Lead efforts to improve the reliability, quality, and efficiency of the systems you manage.
• Help refine methods and practices that influence the broader investment implementation process.

Minimum Qualifications

• A four-year undergraduate degree from an accredited institution.
• At least 1 year of relevant experience in an investment bank or asset management environment.
• Hands-on exposure to portfolio construction and risk management methods.

Work Arrangement

This is an onsite position in Singapore. The expected office attendance is 4 days per week.

Compensation

The annual base salary range for this position is SGD 183,700 to SGD 288,600, plus a discretionary target bonus.
