Role summary
This is a full-time remote opportunity for a Data Partnerships Manager. The position is focused on developing and sustaining strategic data partnerships that improve platform capabilities, while also handling negotiations, partner engagement, and governance compliance.
What you'll do
- Design and implement approaches to find, assess, and bring on new data partners from multiple industries.
- Work through partnership terms, including data access arrangements, pricing structures, and service-level commitments, until agreements are finalized.
- Partner with engineering, legal, and product teams to make sure each partnership fits both business goals and technical requirements.
- Track partner performance and prepare reports on metrics such as data volume, data quality, and revenue contribution.
- Make sure all partnerships meet applicable regulatory, ethical, and internal governance requirements, including GDPR, CCPA, and company data policies.
Required experience and capabilities
The client is looking for someone with at least 5 years of experience in data partnerships, business development, or another closely related role in the technology or data infrastructure space. The ideal candidate should be comfortable handling complex commercial discussions, managing contracts, and working with privacy and compliance frameworks. Strong analytical thinking, effective communication, and familiarity with APIs, data structures such as JSON and CSV, and third-party data platforms are also important.
