Role overview

This position is for a multimedia journalist who can handle reporting, content publishing, digital promotion, and visual storytelling in a busy newsroom environment.

Key responsibilities

• Handle newspaper correspondence, write articles, and publish content on the website.
• Manage social media accounts and support the distribution of digital content across platforms.
• Design social media creatives, banners, and promotional graphics.
• Edit and upload videos, reels, and other multimedia assets for web and social use.
• Use basic tools such as Canva, Photoshop, video-editing software, and social media management tools.
• Communicate confidently in both English and Hindi.
• Respond quickly and effectively in a fast-paced newsroom environment.
• Prepare relevant interview questions when needed.
• Stay informed about social, political, and economic developments.

Eligibility

Applicants should hold a Bachelor of Journalism and Mass Communication in any specialization, or a B.A. (Hons.) in Journalism & Mass Communication.

Skills required

Article writing, digital publishing, social media management, multimedia editing, visual design, interview preparation, newsroom coordination, English communication, Hindi communication, current affairs awareness.

Additional information

This role is based in Gurugram, India. Compensation is listed in the range of INR 4,00,000 to INR 7,00,000 per year.
