Role Overview
This opportunity is for a practical, results-driven Maintenance Manager to oversee maintenance activities across a medical device manufacturing site in Cork, Ireland. The position is based in a tightly controlled production environment where reliability, safety, and uptime are critical.
What You Will Do
You will be responsible for directing site maintenance operations, guiding a team of technicians, and ensuring production equipment remains dependable and efficient. The role reports to the Plant/Operations Director and plays a key part in supporting uninterrupted manufacturing output.
What You Need to Bring
The ideal candidate has extensive maintenance management experience in industrial or highly regulated manufacturing settings, along with strong technical knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems. Experience running preventive and predictive maintenance programs, using CMMS platforms such as SAP PM or Maximo, and working within EHS, OSHA, and medical device regulatory frameworks is important. The role also calls for confident leadership, strong analytical thinking, and a problem-solving approach. A degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering is preferred.
Compensation
The salary range for this position is €80,000 to €100,000 per year.
