Maintenance Cleaning Coordinator

About the role

As the Maintenance & Cleaning Coordinator at the Southern Cross University Campus in Lismore, you will help keep the property safe, tidy, and operating smoothly for residents. You will partner with the General Manager to support inspections, resolve maintenance issues, and help deliver a positive day-to-day living experience.

Key duties

• Handle general maintenance tasks such as basic plumbing, carpentry, and painting work.
• Keep gardens and shared outdoor areas maintained to a high standard.
• Oversee the cleaning and presentation of communal spaces, including kitchens, BBQ areas, and laundries.
• Plan and coordinate routine maintenance work and manage spare parts inventory.
• Assist with inspections and work with contractors when external support is needed.

What we are looking for

• Full and unrestricted right to work in Australia.
• A strong safety focus, with a sound understanding of basic OH&S practices and chemical handling.
• Previous experience in a similar role within hospitality or property management.
• Good ability to prioritise work and manage time efficiently.
• Well-developed written and verbal communication skills.
