Role overview
Followmont Transport is hiring a dependable and detail-oriented Local HR Driver to support its Mackay pickup and delivery operations. This position suits someone who takes pride in accurate, high-standard work and enjoys contributing to a stable, supportive team environment.
The role involves the safe collection and delivery of different types of freight, including manual handling of parcel freight, while following the company’s established procedures and safety standards.
Key duties
- Complete local general freight pickups and deliveries for customers.
- Operate a forklift and pallet jack to load and unload freight.
- Handle freight safely and maintain a strong focus on service quality.
- Follow company policies, operational procedures, and relevant industry legal requirements.
About you
- You are committed to safety, teamwork, and strong customer service.
- You hold a valid HR truck licence.
- Forklift licence and hands-on experience are preferred.
- You can successfully complete a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol testing.
- You are willing to undergo a criminal history check if selected.
Employment details
This is a full-time, permanent role based onsite in Paget, Queensland. Work is Monday to Friday, with overtime available. The position is a permanent employee role with ongoing unposting status.
