Overview
This is a remote contract opportunity for a legal specialist to produce polished, well-structured legal documents and related analytical materials. The work requires strong legal reasoning, careful issue spotting, and the ability to present information in a clear, technically sound format.
Compensation and Commitment
Pay is set at $20 to $40 per hour. The expected workload is flexible, ranging from 10 to 40 hours per week.
Key Responsibilities
- Create high-quality legal documents that may include textual analysis, tables, charts, or diagrams.
- Ensure all delivered material is original and not taken from online sources or produced synthetically.
- Show strong analytical depth by identifying issues and supporting conclusions with sound legal reasoning.
- Work on a variety of document formats and lengths, with pieces typically spanning roughly 10 to 100 pages.
- Handle all information with strict confidentiality and remain mindful of privilege in both documents and communications.
- Take part in review and feedback rounds to refine content and improve its usefulness for AI model training.
Requirements
- Substantial experience in legal drafting and document analysis.
- Proven ability to prepare strong legal materials such as memos, case briefs, contracts, or policy analyses.
- Excellent legal writing skills with the ability to express complex legal ideas accurately and clearly.
- Comfort working with tables, diagrams, or other structured presentation formats in legal work.
- Strong understanding of confidentiality, privilege, and data privacy obligations in legal practice and document handling.
