Laundry Assistant

Role overview

Ryman Healthcare is looking for a Laundry Assistant to join the team at Ernest Rutherford Village in Nelson. This is a full-time onsite role focused on keeping laundry services running smoothly and helping maintain a clean, comfortable setting for residents.

Working hours

The position runs Monday to Thursday from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm.

What you’ll do

• Handle the washing, sorting, and timely delivery of linen and residents’ personal clothing.
• Follow health and safety procedures carefully to protect residents, staff, and visitors.
• Collaborate with teammates and provide support where needed.

Applicants must have the right to work in New Zealand for this role. Candidates from overseas are sometimes considered, but only where immigration requirements are met.
