Role overview

We are seeking an experienced Instrumentation Design Engineer for oil and gas EPC work in Doha, Qatar. The role focuses on producing detailed engineering deliverables and making sure all designs align with project requirements as well as relevant international codes and standards.

Key responsibilities

  • Build and maintain the instrumentation deliverables package, including the instrument index, I/O list, loop drawings, hook-up details, cable schedules, and junction box layouts.
  • Coordinate with multi-discipline teams to create and check P&IDs.

  • Examine vendor documentation and assist with procurement-related technical support.

  • Support site installation activities and commissioning as needed.

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree in Instrumentation Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in oil and gas EPC projects.
  • Practical knowledge of DCS, PLC, AutoCAD, and SPI.
  • Strong technical judgment and the ability to coordinate effectively with others.
