Iceland Foods is seeking a Home Delivery Driver in Portsmouth, England. The position is hourly paid at £13.71 and is suited to someone who enjoys staying active, working independently, and interacting with customers while representing the brand on the road.

The role centres on delivering groceries safely and efficiently, making sure each order reaches the customer in excellent condition, and providing a high standard of service as a visible representative of the company. You may also be asked to support the store team when needed.

What you will do

• Load the van safely, following correct heavy-lifting and manual-handling practices.
• Drive responsibly and always follow safe driving standards.
• Carry out routine checks on the delivery vehicle before and during use.
• Make sure customer orders arrive in the best possible condition.
• Deliver friendly and helpful service to every customer.
• Assist in the store when additional support is required.
• Work on your own with good time management and self-direction.
• Be flexible with shifts, which may fall anywhere between 6:00 am and 11:00 pm.

What we are looking for

To be considered, you should have a full driving licence that has been held for at least 3 years and must have no more than 6 penalty points. You should also be upbeat, approachable, customer-focused, and able to work to deadlines. A strong understanding of road safety is essential.

Pay and benefits

The hourly wage for this role is £13.71.
