About the role
The Gardens and Grounds Instructor is responsible for maintaining the grounds, gardens, turf and related outputs needed to support prison operations. The role also includes delivering hands-on instruction, accredited training and supervision to prisoners working in this area, along with a supervisory responsibility for other staff.
Salary and employment details
Classification: V3WT2. Salary: $89,654 to $97,144 per annum, plus 12% superannuation (POA). Position number: 010329. Work type: Permanent - Full Time. Location: Pardelup Prison Farm. Closing date: 2026-07-07 at 4:30 PM.

Eligibility
For permanent appointment in the Western Australian public sector, applicants must be Australian citizens or hold permanent resident status in Australia. Successful candidates must also hold a Certificate III in Horticulture or an equivalent qualification.
