We are hiring a Frontend Developer (React) in Ireland for a partner company that oversees the application process and all subsequent hiring steps. What you will do

• Build, maintain, and improve modern web applications with React and related frontend tools.
• Work closely with developers and technical leads to deliver new features and product enhancements.
• Take part in frontend architecture discussions and help decide technical approaches.
• Assess and introduce suitable tools, frameworks, and development practices that align with project needs.
• Review code and help uphold strong standards for quality, speed, and long-term maintainability.
• Create responsive, interactive interfaces that are optimized for a smooth user experience.
• Connect frontend applications with backend services through REST APIs and service-oriented designs.
• Assist with support, troubleshooting, and ongoing improvement of existing applications.
• Follow best practices for version control, testing, deployment, and CI/CD processes.

What we are looking for

• At least 3 years of professional experience building web applications.
• Minimum 2 years of practical React.js experience in production settings.
• Good command of both object-oriented and functional programming concepts.
• Proven ability to create interactive, responsive, and high-performing interfaces.
• Working knowledge of Redux, Flux, or comparable state management tools.
• Strong CSS skills, including styling approaches, frontend performance tuning, and browser rendering behavior.
• Experience using Git-based systems such as GitHub or GitLab.
• Hands-on experience with React Hooks and TypeScript-based application structures.
• Understanding of REST APIs, SOA, and frontend-to-backend integration.
• Solid grasp of modern JavaScript features, including ES6, ES7, and ES8.
• Familiarity with CI/CD concepts, tools, and deployment workflows.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving ability, and collaborative communication.
• Exposure to high-load systems, Node.js, Docker, Linux, distributed systems, SOLID principles, or Bash scripting will be viewed as an advantage.
