Freelance Presentation Designer

Overview

Mindrift is hiring a skilled Presentation Designer for the Tendem project, where you will help shape polished storytelling workflows in a hybrid AI-plus-human setup. The work focuses on turning dense information and raw narratives into visually compelling presentations that feel premium, persuasive, and highly structured.

This is a part-time remote freelance opportunity suited to creative professionals with practical experience in visual communication, information design, and presentation storytelling. You will work alongside Tendem Agents that handle repetitive tasks, while you contribute the design judgment, domain expertise, and formatting precision needed for high-impact deliverables.

Role Focus

As a Presentation Designer on this Tendem project, your main responsibility is to strengthen storytelling and visual hierarchy. You will create slides and one-pagers that communicate complex ideas clearly and elegantly, using tools such as PowerPoint, Keynote, Adobe Creative Suite, and Figma.

Key Responsibilities

• Create high-impact pitch decks and polished one-pagers tailored to specific audiences.
• Convert complicated data and narrative content into clean, minimal, and easy-to-follow visual stories.
• Improve presentations with custom typography, refined motion, and consistent visual treatment.
• Maintain a premium style that blends corporate professionalism with creative presentation design.
• Review layouts carefully before delivery to ensure alignment, pacing, brand consistency, and overall quality.

Requirements

• About 2 or more years of relevant experience in graphic design, presentation design, visual storytelling, or data visualization is preferred.
• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, Visual Communications, or a related creative field is an advantage.
• Strong command of presentation software such as PowerPoint and Keynote for building sophisticated, animated decks.
• Advanced ability with Adobe Creative Suite, including Illustrator and Photoshop, or with Figma for custom graphics and layouts.
• Capability to simplify layered information and data into clear, minimal visual formats.
• Advanced typography and animation skills for refined, high-end deliverables.
• English proficiency at upper-intermediate level (B2) or above is required.
• Hands-on experience producing premium, corporate-meets-creative presentation layouts.
• Excellent attention to detail and a strong commitment to visual accuracy.
• Self-managed working style with the ability to solve design problems independently.
• A CV that includes a portfolio link showing presentation work, pitch decks, and data visualization examples; applications without a portfolio link or relevant cases will not be considered.

Time Commitment

The expected workload is approximately 10 to 20 hours per week during active project phases. This is an estimate rather than a guaranteed number of hours and applies only while the project is active.

Compensation

Contributors may earn up to the equivalent of $50 per hour, depending on their contribution level and working pace. Pay can vary by project depending on scope, complexity, and expertise requirements.
