Role Overview

The organization is looking for an experienced Employee Relations Manager to drive employee relations efforts, support a healthy workplace culture, and help ensure adherence to employment laws and internal policies. In this role, you will guide managers and employees on workplace matters, resolve conflicts, handle sensitive cases, and create programs that improve engagement and overall organizational performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create and roll out employee relations strategies that support business goals and broader people initiatives.
  • Act as a dependable advisor for managers and employees on workplace policies, employee issues, and employment practices.
  • Oversee employee relations matters such as grievances, disciplinary actions, investigations, conflict resolution, and complaints.
  • Carry out impartial, confidential, and well-documented investigations, and propose suitable resolutions and corrective measures.
  • Help maintain compliance with labor legislation, employment rules, company policies, and workplace ethics.
  • Work closely with HR, legal, leadership, and business stakeholders to address complex employee concerns and reduce organizational risk.
  • Design and conduct training on conduct at work, conflict handling, performance management, and employment policies.
  • Track employee engagement, culture trends, and workplace patterns, then recommend actions to improve employee experience and retention.
  • Support performance management, organizational changes, and workforce planning from an employee relations standpoint.
  • Prepare reports, case briefings, workforce insights, and strategic recommendations for senior leaders.

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, Organizational Development, Law, or a related discipline is preferred.
  • Professional credentials such as SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR, CIPD, or similar are considered an advantage.
  • At least 5 years of experience in employee relations, HR, HR business partnering, or labor relations.
  • At least 2 years of experience leading employee relations programs, workplace investigations, or HR teams is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of employment law, workplace investigations, performance management, conflict resolution, and HR best practices.
  • Hands-on experience with HRIS platforms, case management tools, and HR analytics systems.
  • Excellent interpersonal, mediation, negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong communication, leadership, coaching, and stakeholder management skills.
  • High professionalism and the ability to handle confidential and sensitive information discreetly.
  • Comfort working independently in a remote setup.
