Diploma Engineer Trainee

Job purpose

This role is focused on helping keep plant machinery and equipment running reliably and safely. The trainee will support routine operations, assist with both preventive and breakdown maintenance, and work closely with the production and maintenance teams to avoid interruptions in plant performance.

Key responsibilities

• Support the upkeep and day-to-day operation of plant machines and equipment.
• Help carry out scheduled preventive maintenance as well as corrective repairs after breakdowns.
• Contribute to maintaining smooth and uninterrupted plant operations.
• Observe all plant safety practices and standard operating procedures.
• Coordinate with production and maintenance staff to complete tasks efficiently.
• Keep maintenance logs and prepare daily activity reports.

Technical knowledge expected

• Fundamental understanding of maintenance work, including preventive and breakdown maintenance.
• Working knowledge of pumps, compressors, bearings, and gearboxes.
• Ability to read basic 2D drawings.
• Awareness of lubrication practices and alignment concepts.

Additional information

Location for this role is Gujarat, India. The position is full-time and based on-site.
