Role summary
This is a full-time remote opportunity for a Data Partnerships Lead supporting a client’s data strategy and monetization goals. The position is based anywhere, with a location reference of Sri Lanka, and is aimed at someone who can build, negotiate, and manage high-value data partnerships that strengthen product capabilities and support revenue growth.
Compensation
The annual payout for this role is $250K to $400K.
What you’ll do
- Source, assess, and shortlist potential data partners that can broaden the company’s data ecosystem and improve model quality.
- Lead negotiations and close data licensing and partnership agreements while balancing business priorities and compliance needs.
- Partner with engineering teams to bring external data sources into existing pipelines and platforms.
- Track partnership outcomes, review performance trends, and recommend ways to improve or scale each relationship.
- Coordinate closely with legal and compliance stakeholders to keep every partnership aligned with regulations and internal policy.
What the role calls for
- Hands-on experience negotiating data partnerships or data licensing agreements, ideally within technology or AI-focused businesses.
- Solid understanding of data monetization models and the infrastructure that supports data use and distribution.
