The Firm
KP Law is a specialist litigation boutique founded in 2020, formerly known as Keller Postman. The firm focuses on collective redress and employs more than 100 people across London, Manchester, Birmingham, and Liverpool. It represents over 250,000 individual clients in matters including product liability, competition, worker rights, data breach and privacy, and financial services.
The organisation combines legal expertise with a strong operational and technology base so clients can pursue claims that might otherwise not be feasible against large corporates. It is owned and fully funded by Legatus Holdings, a recognised UK litigation funder, which supports the firm in handling larger and high-profile cases efficiently and with confidence. All matters are run for claimants under contingent fee arrangements, at no cost or risk to clients. KP Law was ranked Tier 1 for Group Litigation: Claimant in The Legal 500 UK Guide 2026 and Band 2 for Group Litigation: Claimant in Chambers and Partners 2026.
Role overview
As a Data Analyst, you will help generate meaningful insight for internal and external stakeholders. Working within a small team, you will partner with legal teams, data engineers, and developers to improve data-led decision-making across the business. Through high-quality analytical solutions delivered in tools such as Power BI, you will help teams make better decisions, understand performance drivers, and improve operational results.
Key responsibilities
Your work will cover reporting, analysis, stakeholder support, and data governance. You will also help strengthen documentation and drive ongoing improvements to reporting processes and outputs.
Reporting and visualisation
- Create, develop, and support reports and dashboards that convert complex datasets into practical insights.
- Use strong visual design principles to present findings clearly for different audiences.
- Automate repeat reporting tasks to improve reliability and save time.
Analysis and insight
- Examine large and complex data sets to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities that support business goals.
- Provide analytical input to help shape important business initiatives and decisions.
- Produce insight that supports both day-to-day operations and longer-term strategy.
Stakeholder collaboration
- Work with business teams to capture reporting needs and convert them into technical requirements.
- Support and train users so they can access, understand, and use reports and dashboards effectively.
- Share insight and recommendations that help guide operational and strategic choices.
Data quality and governance
- Maintain accuracy, consistency, and reliability across reports and analytical outputs.
- Perform routine cleansing, validation, and reconciliation of data.
- Assist with the rollout and observance of data governance policies and standards.
Documentation and improvement
- Record methods, processes, and outputs to encourage transparency, repeatability, and knowledge transfer.
- Review existing dashboards and reports, then make enhancements where required.
- Help develop reporting standards, data definitions, documentation, and governance practices.
Required background and skills
You should hold a degree in a STEM discipline or have practical experience in data analysis or business intelligence. The role calls for strong Power BI capability, including data modelling, DAX, and effective visualisation techniques, along with solid SQL knowledge for querying and preparing data. You will need strong analytical ability, excellent attention to detail, and the confidence to work with stakeholders, understand their needs, and present findings clearly.
Desirable experience
It would be helpful if you have worked with Databricks for transformation or analytics tasks, created Salesforce reports and dashboards, or used Python for basic data manipulation, automation, or analysis. Familiarity with cloud environments such as Azure or AWS, ETL tools, data modelling concepts, and legal sector data and metrics would also be an advantage.

The firm aims to build a diverse workforce made up of strong talent, within a workplace that is supportive, inclusive, and community-minded.
