Role Overview
We are seeking a junior-to-mid-level Customer Success Manager who is focused on customers, takes initiative, and can strengthen client partnerships while contributing to retention and growth. This position is fully remote within France and is suited to someone who enjoys helping customers reach their objectives, resolving issues, and shaping a strong overall experience.
Core Responsibilities
- Own and maintain relationships with a portfolio of customers to support long-term retention and success.
- Serve as the main contact for customer questions, escalations, and ongoing support requirements.
- Support customers through onboarding, product adoption, and implementation so they can gain maximum value.
- Build a strong understanding of each customer’s objectives, pain points, and business priorities.
- Track customer health indicators and proactively spot ways to improve engagement and satisfaction.
- Partner with sales, product, marketing, and support teams to represent customer needs and help drive improvements.
- Lead periodic business reviews and share practical strategic guidance with customers.
- Look for opportunities to grow accounts through renewals and expansion while keeping a customer-first mindset.
- Monitor and share customer success metrics such as retention, adoption, and satisfaction.
- Develop and update customer guides, training content, and best-practice resources.
Requirements
- At least 1 to 5 years of experience in customer success, account management, client services, sales, or a similar field.
- Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building abilities.
- Good problem-solving skills and a genuine customer-focused approach.
- Previous exposure to SaaS, technology, or service-based customer environments is a plus.
- Working knowledge of CRM tools such as Salesforce, HubSpot, or equivalent platforms.
- Ability to interpret customer data and identify patterns, risks, and growth opportunities.
- Well-developed organizational skills and the ability to juggle multiple accounts and priorities.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams to deliver customer outcomes.
- Comfortable working independently in a remote setup.
- Fluent English is required; French proficiency is highly preferred.
- Must be based in France and legally authorized to work full-time.
