Role Overview
This position supports housekeeping operations by monitoring room status, coordinating cleaning priorities, and helping keep guest-room turnover on schedule. The role also works closely with Engineering, Front Office, Laundry, and housekeeping leadership to keep daily operations running smoothly.
Key Duties
- Review room reports and check room status to identify discrepancies and prioritize rooms for cleaning.
- Track and update the status of rooms due to be vacated or already vacated.
- Support housekeeping leadership with day-to-day operational coordination.
- Serve as a point of contact between Housekeeping, Engineering, Front Office, and Laundry teams.
- Work with the Front Desk to document and resolve mismatched room status issues.
- Prepare and share room assignments with housekeeping team members.
- Maintain and update the list of rooms marked as Do Not Disturb.
- Make sure vacant dirty rooms are cleaned on time and manage rush rooms and rooms that were previously on the Do Not Disturb list.
- Complete the required housekeeping documentation and paperwork.

- Follow company policies, safety rules, and security procedures at all times.
- Report maintenance issues, hazards, accidents, or injuries without delay.
- Complete required safety training and certifications.
- Maintain a neat, professional uniform and personal presentation.
- Protect confidential information and safeguard company property.
- Greet and assist guests in line with company service standards.
- Respond to guest needs promptly and with genuine appreciation.
- Maintain quality standards and strong working relationships with colleagues.
- Communicate clearly, write accurately, and use computers to enter and find work-related information.
- Be able to stand, sit, or walk for long periods and handle objects weighing up to 10 pounds without assistance.
- Perform other duties assigned by supervisors.
Qualifications
A high school diploma or GED is preferred, along with at least one year of relevant work experience. No supervisory background or license/certification is required.
