About the internship
This role is for an in-office compliance intern at a SEBI-registered stock research firm based in Navi Mumbai. The organization focuses on research-driven insights for intraday options and commodities, and also runs an online stock market education platform. The internship is designed for someone who can support regulatory adherence, documentation, and compliance monitoring in a financial services environment.
Key responsibilities
- Work to keep the organization aligned with SEBI Research Analyst regulations.
- Track regulatory changes and update compliance records accordingly.
- Manage filings, supporting documents, KYC records, and client-related paperwork.
- Check research reports, promotional material, and client-facing communication for compliance issues.
- Assist with internal audits, SEBI inspections, and compliance-related reporting.
- Coordinate with management, auditors, and external regulatory advisors as needed.

Required background and knowledge
- 1–2 years of exposure to compliance, legal work, or financial services is expected.
- A valid NISM-Series-XV (Research Analyst) certification is compulsory.

- Prior experience with a SEBI-registered research analyst, investment advisor, or financial services company will be preferred.

Compensation
The stipend offered is INR 5,000 to 8,000 per month.
