Kling Consult International GmbH and Co KG is a prominent architectural and engineering consultancy with its headquarters in Germany. The Dubai branch is actively seeking a Civil Inspector to join their team.
Role Overview
This is a full-time, on-site position requiring a dedicated Civil Inspector to oversee projects in Dubai and Sharjah. The role involves conducting thorough site inspections, implementing stringent quality control measures, and actively participating in construction management processes. The position operates on a 6-day work week.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform detailed site inspections to ensure adherence to project specifications and quality standards.
- Implement and monitor quality control procedures throughout the construction lifecycle.
- Oversee and manage various aspects of construction activities on-site.
- Collaborate with project teams to address any technical issues or deviations.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections and progress reports.
Qualifications and Experience
- A minimum of 10 years of professional experience in civil engineering or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience specifically on projects within the hospitality sector (5-star Hotels and Resorts), as well as High-Rise buildings or Villas & Townhouses developments.
- Proven experience in conducting site inspections and familiarity with standard inspection protocols.
- Solid understanding of quality control standards and best practices in construction.
- Demonstrated experience in construction management.
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong analytical capabilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for seamless collaboration.
- A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering is required.
- Possession of relevant certifications in civil inspection and quality control is advantageous.
Additional Information
This role requires two positions to be filled: one based in Dubai and another based in Sharjah. The work schedule is 6 days a week.
