Role overview
This opportunity is being handled for a partner employer, who will manage applications and all later hiring steps. The company is seeking a Chat Operator in Australia for a fully remote, fast-moving role focused on digital communication and AI-assisted conversation monitoring.
The position is centered on maintaining high-quality chat experiences across large online platforms. It requires close observation of ongoing conversations, support in improving response quality, and help spotting issues in AI-generated outputs. The work is highly structured and best suited to someone analytical, disciplined, and comfortable with repetitive, detail-heavy tasks.
This role also provides exposure to AI tools and behavioral analysis within digital communication environments.
Key accountabilities
- Keep watch over chat conversations throughout long daily shifts of more than 8 hours, making sure interaction flow stays smooth and appropriate.
- Step into conversations from time to time to improve clarity, tone, or the usefulness of replies on behalf of companions.
- Observe, measure, and interpret patterns in communication between users and conversational agents or companions.
- Review how well AI-supported responses perform, noting where they are effective and where they fall short.
- Flag technical problems or content issues in automated replies so the system can be refined over time.
- Arrange requests for supporting materials, such as images or videos, when they fit the needs of the interaction.
Requirements
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to stay focused during long, repetitive work sessions.
- A disciplined, organized, and methodical way of working day to day.
- Understanding of user behavior and basic customer psychology, along with strong empathy.
- Interest in AI tools and a willingness to learn and adapt to new systems.
- Fast learning ability with a proactive mindset and appetite for growth.
- Strong written Russian and good English communication skills.
