Role Description
We are seeking a Bench Sales Career Advisor to join our Ahmedabad team. This full-time, on-site position operates during night shifts and is dedicated to supporting US IT consultants in their career progression and job placement endeavors. The ideal candidate will possess substantial experience in bench sales and US IT staffing, with a proven ability to market consultant profiles, secure interviews, and facilitate successful placements. This role involves acting as a career advisor while also managing vendor relations and candidate marketing.
Key Responsibilities
- Offer career guidance to consultants regarding bench sales strategies and job placement opportunities.
- Market bench candidates to vendors, clients, and implementation partners across the United States.
- Refine and customize resumes to align with specific job requirements and current market demands.
- Actively submit candidate profiles on job portals and identify new leads.
- Cultivate and maintain robust relationships with vendors and recruiters.
- Monitor daily submissions, interview schedules, and the status of placements.
- Prepare candidates for interviews through mock sessions and constructive feedback.
- Ensure all necessary documentation and compliance requirements (e.g., visa status, work authorization) are met.
- Stay informed about US job market trends, emerging technologies, and contemporary hiring practices.
- Maintain consistent communication with candidates and internal team members.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in Bench Sales, US IT Staffing, or Career Advising.
- A thorough understanding of the US recruitment lifecycle.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities.
- Experience working with candidates holding H1B, OPT, CPT, GC, and USC statuses.
- Capacity to manage multiple consultants and tasks concurrently.
- Strong organizational skills and a diligent approach to follow-up.
- A proactive, target-oriented, and client-centric mindset.
- Willingness to work night shifts to align with US time zones.
